Also, everyone experiences PTSD in their own way.

Once you understand what your specific needs are, you will feel

empowered and can better advocate for yourself because you will have

***Healing your PTSD is not a solitary process***

It takes a group of like minded people to support each other through the process.

 

Think about Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Gambling Anonymous groups - 

even Weight Watchers!

These are groups of people (having individual experiences) 

coming together to support one another towards a shared goal.

That shared goal can be lots of things like sobriety, healing, and weight loss. 

The strength, experiences, education, and motivation of the group is more than anyone person -

which is why these groups are so successful. 

Bottom line - it takes a village to heal from PTSD...

*** There is more to healing your PTSD than just meds and talk therapy***

 You must release the trauma from your body

Especially when the trauma happened to you & your body.
